This week Cicada Books & Coffee in Huntington’s Central City District held a book signing event for my crime novel, “HPD”. We sold out their entire stock of the book in just one hour! It was my most successful book signing event ever. Thanks to owner Dawn for hosting this very exciting evening event, and I apologize to the customers who had to leave empty-handed.

The bad / sad news is that my favorite local bookstore, Consigned Books in Ironton, OH, is closing at the end of this month. A rent increase has driven them out of their current location.

The good news is that owner Cindy Black plans to take some time off from running a bookshop and then to open a new store in a more economically vibrant area sometime in the future. I look forward to attending the grand opening of the her new bookstore!
