Local Newspaper Article on Launch of “Funhouse Mirrors”

This article appeared in today’s Huntington Herald-Dispatch. I find it extremely amusing to be referred to as a “CIA operative” in a newspaper.

My Upcoming Events in November

I’ll be having both Book Launch Reception and Book Signing events in November celebrating the release of my newest novel, Funhouse Mirrors.

On November 1, from 5:30 until 7:30 PM, there will be a Book Launch Reception for Funhouse Mirrors held at the Huntington Museum of Art, 2033 McCoy Road, Huntington, WV. Admission to the museum will be free and light refreshments will be served. Please stop by and say hello. Copies of my novel will be available for sale and I’ll be more than happy to personally inscribe them for you.

On November 5, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, I will be at Empire Books and News, 30 Pullman Square, Huntington, WV signing my books. Both of my novels are for sale there, and again, I’d love to see you, so please drop by if you can.

Ohio River Festival of Books

img_20161001_101620This past weekend, I was invited to be a “signing author” at the Ohio River Festival of Books. This event was held at the Pullman Plaza Hotel in Huntington, WV. There I spoke with lots of other authors and sold and signed many books for attendees. I had a really wonderful time and met lots of great people there.

In the picture above, you’ll see an Asus Chromebook Flip on my table. I used this little computer as a way to provide video information on my novel to attendees. I use this approach instead of posters and signs, and have found it to be a great way to attract the attention of people passing by and quickly providing information about my book to them.
